A Series
Knife Gate Valve – A Series
Unidirectional wafer knife gate valve designed for liquids with up to 5% suspended solids. One-piece cast body with internal guides for stable, reliable shut-off.
DN50 – DN1200
Unidirectional
Liquids up to 5% solids
One-piece cast body
Overview
The A Series is a wafer-type unidirectional knife gate valve with a one-piece cast body and internal guides that stabilise the gate and wedges during operation. The full, straight-through port ensures high flow rates with minimal pressure loss, making it suitable for a wide range of water-based and process duties.
It is designed for applications with liquids containing up to 5% suspended solids. For dry solids in gravity service, the valve must be installed with the arrow on the body opposite to the product flow.
Typical Applications
- Pulp & paper stock lines
- Process water in mining plants
- Chemical processing lines
- Food & beverage utilities
- Wastewater and sewage treatment
- Silo discharge and dry bulk handling
